I was invited to give a TEDx talk in Jackson, MS, on the topic of healthcare. With my focus on cooperatives in healthcare, I knew immediately what I was going to frame my talk around — leveraging the power of the crowd to fix healthcare.
Disclosure: My presentation remote died two slides in. The AV guy tried to time it based on my slide notes, but it was a disaster. The TED crew told us to power through any technical difficulties and they could fix it in post-production. I deeply considered pausing the talk until we could get it fixed, but nevertheless, I continued.
