My Thoughts

What are your goals?

“If you set your goals ridiculously high and it’s a failure,

you will fail above everyone else’s success.”

-James Cameron, director of Terminator and Titanic

I just want to make one thing clear — I will never settle for mediocrity. This isn’t part of my mental makeup. Actually, that concept isn’t anywhere to be found in my brain. Why is this? Probably because of all the motivational, financial, business, and idea-generating books I’ve read. Which brings me to another quote:

“You will be the same person in five years as you are today except for the people you meet and the books you read.” Jones, Charles ”Tremendous”

I read that in Three Feet from Gold, by Sharon L. Lechter & Greg S. Reid. Charles “Tremendous” Jones was the director over the Napoleon Hill Foundation, if I remember correctly. But back to the thing about mediocrity. There are two typesof people in this world: The type that works for someone, and the type that that person works for. It is up to YOU to decide.

Everything that happens to you today is a direct consequence of your actions and choices of yesterday. Therefore, what you do today sets the platform for how your tomorrow will be. It is all up to you! Do you want to work for someone, trading your time for money? Or do you want to live the life of your dreams?

Now, I understand that some people are living the life of their dreams right now. They graduated high school, went on to college and graduated with a bachelor’s degree, got a good job, bought a new vehicle, got married, bought another new vehicle, bought a house, had a kid, had two kids, bought a bigger vehicle, all while working 50-60 hrs a week to pay for all of this. Does that sound like your dreams? Do you want to do something about it? All it takes is that first step…
