“The person you’ll be in 5 years will be created by the books you read and the difficult conversations you have.”
According to my Amazon history on 6/22/2020, I’ve purchased 187 physical books and 102 audiobooks in the past 5 years. That’s 289 books read or 57 books a year.
When I want to learn something new, I tend to read 3-5 books on the subject along with watching TED Talks, YouTube videos, listening to podcasts, and reading blogs/papers. This usually happens over a 1-3 month time period. I also study multiple subjects at the same time.
